porting intakes


what tools would i need to port my upper and lower intakes? and is this worth it as far as power gains are concerned?

dont do it yourself unless you have training to do so.. youll screw your motor up

I looked to have my V8 PI heads done locally, and the guy wanted $1700 for the set (that's porting MY heads, not swapping my unported for some ported) A little high, but only by about $100-$200. Dont have a clue about the V6.

youll see a similar deal for a v6 but if you want ported intakes and heads get them from www.supersixmotorsports.com it will be reliable and perform great plus you get a cam on top of that
