well i know he had 24lb injectors, and like stated before it looks like remains of pistons, looks like it might have run lean, but i really dont know, i dont know what he heard before it went, no pictures of pistons/heads off, just simply putting that 270 on a stock v6 engine with the proper fuel upgrades that it sounded like he had shouldnt be an issue

i wouldn't think i would of had an issue but i did lol. im gonna take the heads off when i get it out of the car. and i had 36lb injectors, not 24lb.

oh and look what i got today

those pictures dont show much as to any cause of the motor being blown.
not that I'am saying you said that, just saying in general
even removing the head might not tell much.
a bent rod or spun bearing cannot be seen up top
shoot i snapped a connecting rod and all you could see was some scratches on the piston face from it hitting the head and spinning

best of luck to you goober, id look into a fuel pump if you didnt have one before and probably 42lbers. s/c'ers tend to be not so nice with fuel as turbo systems.
although 36lbers shouldnt have given you a problem the stock pump may have if you were using one.
its been so long i dont remember if you were or not

yeah im waiting to get it on the engine stand before i tear it down some more. i had an SVT Focus pump. i know it doesn't show anything but you know people like pictures lol

mine was a DD for a while, 279rwhp, 313rwhp, 350rwhp, 390rwhp 439rwhp then 497rwhp lol
IMO unless you plan on going all out on the car dont get a daily driver.
also you can deffinitly DD the car when done safely
I can garuntee the stock bottom end when i as at 350rwhp, it woulda lasted alllll day. it didnt blow til race gas and 12psi.

completely stock motor and 8psi with a tune is VERY safe
