question...small part on that big important expensive thing.


Are the transmissions the same on the six from 94-04?
I was wondering because I was gonna get a short throw off ebay and wanted to make sure that it fit.

they changed to the 4R70W in 98...97 was the last year they used the AOD, but I think they both are pretty similiar, just the 4R70W is more beefed up.

I thought that they used the T5 in v6 mustangs and T45 in GTs

they use the T5 in both the v6 and the GT just different bell housing from my understanding...had a moment though i was caught up with the new shifter for the autos that i mis read your post...yea they are the same from 94-04
