Straight pipes???

soo the toher day i went ot hte muffler shop..and teh guy told me that he wont make me my exhaust unless it has cats...and i DONT WANT CATS! he told me that theres 4 coming off my headers??or something..i was confused!!!! i went in there and told him i wanted TRUE dual exhaust..(my sister was with me)..and he was like..ok well uhh...i can use the old piping...soo it'll be about 260 with flow 40's...we walk out..and i look at my sis and im like.taht guys an idiot...i said i wanted duals and hes gonna make the pipe with the stock pipe??

he's gotta cut it before the y
weld seperate pipes from there all the way back and over the axle. and if you desire a crossover pipe
the before the axle install and weld the muffler
then he's gotta proceed to go over the axle, and to the back with tips on it

is what i was trying to et it...is what'd i go wrong..i went in there..t.odl the guy i wanted true duals...with a H pipe and flowmaster 40's..said i didnt want any cats..he said he woudlnt do it unless it has cats...sooo how can i get past that??

i would never pay 260 or 350 for any kind of exhaust from a muffler shop.. if your gonna pay that much get a damn cat-back.. straight pipes is no resonators no cats no nothing just pipes it will sound like something is wrong with your car
