what gains would you get by doing that ? Also can I open the hood scope and connect it to my air intake would that do anything ?

Your gonna need something stronger than mesh to cover that hole up. A rock flying at it can tear into that easily. Also leave the hood be what your talking about is creating a ram air, which is only beneficial at high speeds, and gives you the same power that a cold air intake does.

Gains nothing he is just in a real hot climate so it might make is breaking alittle better and let his breaks get some air. and no opening up the hood scoop and not connecting it would just be blowing air on your engine doing nothing which is what your cowl is for. but if you could hook it up to you intake someway it would be ram air.

side scoops


thats a lie i have a 94 mustang and my side scoops are functional dont know if they aftermarket my bro put them in when he had the car but yea they at least have the holes punched out, theres screws on the inside of the fender unbolt them after that it comes off but theres adhesive

and on the hoodscoop thing u could cut it out and run like a intake tube from behind that and run the tube from that to ur cai and make sure that it would be like blowing on there. Idk if it would be beneficial at all try it and c.
