How do I remove the mustang side scoops?


I have a 2000 mustang and I wanna know how I removed the side scoops so then I can change them for something real u know what I mean... The one it has are fake they r for visual only so they r from plastic..

im sorry, but i dont know what you mean. idk what u mean by "real" sidescoops either, i like the stock ones. but if you want to take them off get a flathead and a rag. and wrap the rag around the flathead so it wont scratch the paint, and gently pry it off

you you want functional scoops like to cool your breaks your gonna have to do some body work but just to get them off flathead and a rag

it would look sick with some side scoops from a 01 bullitt gt. you know how theyre flat and dont have the black plastic insert. yea that'd look nice.

thats is what i wan't .... some real scoops to cool the brakes but it would be to $$$$ rigth?

why would you need to cool the brakes? do you plan on racing for 6 hours long and hard breaking.

umm well maybe for 4 hours running from Sabana Grande to San Juan going fast and braking like every minute at speed of 65-90 and the tempeature at 100 well maybe i wan't to cool the a little more

ok you can do it easy take the scoops off and replace the black plastic with wire grill mesh. Then it will be open inside the area that is behind the scoop drill holes so air can get through the shape of the body will pull it to the disks and kool them.

what if you just make an incision behind the scoop after you insert the mesh grill
