96 sixer and mod the hell out of it, or 01 sixer and not have any money to do much to it? give me your opinions and lemme know what the advantages of each would be or the downfalls of each. thanks.

an 01 has split port injection, the 96 doesnt.

i have 8000 and my uncle will sell me the 96 for 4200, and he will give me a set of flowmaster 40's with tips for free, and put power locks and windows on it for free, that would leave me with some money to mod it with, the 01 im looking at is completely stock and the guys wantin 7700.

i say the 96 isnt worth it. and the 01...well, just keep looking man. there are better priced 01 v6s out there.

i've been looking for 4 months. everyone i find with a good price has been wrecked and im not buying a wrecked car from someone where im not gonna know who fixed it or what exactly was done to it ya know

yes, i understand. but if you wait and keep looking you will find a really good 01. and i recomend gettin a 99+ v6

dude 8k for a 2001 is fawkin expensive....u do know they were worth only 6600$ in 2006 prolly less now in 2007. Thats up here so u guys in the states shoud'nt be much of a dif. I pick up mu 2001 for 6500$.....seriously keep looking

i should be able to talk this guy down. id like to get em down to like 6500 so id have 1500 to spend on it. i could out prolly outrun a gt for 1500. with intake, chip, udp, exaust, 4.10's and a posi, plus a hurst short throw and mac shorty headers.

dude you can defanently do better i got a 00 like new i jewed them down to 5200 so yeah keep looking i thought i wouldn't get a deal that sweet but they are out there just keep looking
