Open Headers???
Would open headers sound good on v6 3.8 with straight pipes???
would it cost anything to have open headers?

there would be no back pressure...which would give you more power up top but a loss of torque.

1.) your launch will decrease HORRIBLY
2.) your car doesnt have the power to handle open headers 3.) long tubes do improve sound 4.) whats the point of having straight pipes on open headers? 5.) it'll sound absolutly horrible. like a monster truck

i have open headers right now on my 99 v6 because my pipe cracked and is getting welded. it sounds like.. well obnoxiously loud. the idle has a deep roar but accelerating is just overly noisy. my car feels more sluggish and exhaust comes into the cabin. also i hear it can damage some things. invest in some nice pipes!
