The Bottom Stock Project

Just as I rebuilt the built motor not but a few days later I purchased a new 2009 GT mustang. Because of this I can now do what I've always wanted to try.
500rwhp on a STOCK 01-04 V6 3.8L bottom end!

The tearing apart of the built motor has already begun. With that motor I'am completely revising as well and constructing a new built motor while the stock motor is in play.

how?
new camshaft going in. probably a 218/218 .560-.570 lift 116-118 lsa area
New turbo pt67 or a 70-72mm
New big valve heads!
SSX intake or a modified split port ported upper.
ported lower
70mm accufab
Comp rockers
comp lifters
6300-6500rpm pull
all on top of a stock bottom end from an 01-04

Fuel will have to be 110 or C16
first goal
running-pump gas looking at 8psi 370-400rwhp area
second goal
after 1000miles of letting the bottom end see boost
110octane goes in 12psi 450rwhp goal min!!
should be fairly easy and reasonable considering on smaller cam, heads, and turbo i made previously 439rwhp on 12psi with 100octane reving to just 6000rpms

final goal
15psi 110 or C16 or Q16 500rwhp
At this point i dont predict it'll last to long though. Im hoping it'll at least last 2weeks(4-6 days of racing)

Depending how bad the motor blows if its just piston rings, i may just get some moly piston rings, cyro treat the rods and pistons and aim for anything higher.
basically the rings and rods are the weak point on the motor. the stock cast I-beam rod is like a chicken bone supporting a human. it'll only last so long. which i may consider only going to 6000rpms because of this.

Anyway once i find a stock bottom end the project begins!!!!

The fate of the built bottom will stay under wraps as far as motor specs

4.2 i spun a rod running low on oil, the turbo slowly burned oil due to a bad oil return line routing and over time it burnt enough to leave only 2quarts in the pan
in return cylinder 2's connect rod lost oil and spun.
i put it back together but only have about 350miles on the new bearings

I'am taking it apart, new crank, doing some other things to the crank, might go with different rods, also will be getting different pistons most likely. I'am debating on that one.
but a few other things will be done to the entire motor. 100% correct like i really wanted it

lol ohh it'll blow I'am sure of that at 500rwhp

But remember. at 439rwhp when i took apart my motor. that motor looked in AWSOME condition, bearings were fine, rods and pistons looked in very good condition. just 1-2bad piston rings. if thats the case with 450 or 500rwhp, as to the only reason its blown. I'll throw some moly or gapless rings and cyro treat the rods and pistons, then turn around and go for 550ish. i have no idea how good that treatment will be on stock rods

Getting a windstar intake thrown on the car this time around
Im going to try to open it and make the throttle inlet bigger for it as well.
test both the windstar intake and the SSX. SSX will probably go on the built motor though. But depending how well the windstar responds that might not even be needed.
to many advantages to the windstar
heat
WEIGHT which is huge for me, I'am a power to weight nut. if its 2lbs off the front its coming off.
