I think its the fuel pump cause the car was acting fine anll day and I shut it off with it above E and then after I went back to start it up the car just doesnt keep running like there is no fuel the oil is fine and so is the trans fluid they arent burned or look funny, i think it really is the pump opinions???

Does it make a ticking sound, like a battery related problem?

IF you hear a tick noise just by putting it on the ac position that's the pump starting, also push the pump switch located next to your fuse box, check your spark plugs and try putting more gas.....

i would say that i would check for spark on the wires that is easiest. Then if it has spark i would check the fuel pump like they say. And if that is fine it would likely be a plugged fuel filter so i would change that.

I took it to the garage today and it was the fuel pump they didnt have time to work on it but they told me the pump died they looked at it what are the odds that when ford changed my fuel filter last week it screwed up my fuel pump?
