V6 build up

Ok Mustang Brothers,
I am starting to do my build up and I need some advise. 1st let me say that I dont want to go total rad on this thing but do want enough that it moves. As of this time I have BBK Cold Air & header and Dual Exhaust with a 5 speed and I think 3.27 gears.I live in the mountains so I am not looking to make a drag car more or a road racer with drag ability every now and again.
My questions form around the following:
What cam should I run?
What if any ignition upgrade should I do?
What turner if any ?
What Throttle Body?
Injectors?

Y'all get the gist . So please fire away because I am looking for as many ideas as I can get.

Budget is a big part of planning out what u wanna do. In my case i decided i wanted a built suspension that will provide ridiculously tight handling . . . gonna cost me 4 grand just in parts.

Honestly, I'd leave the motor alone. Cam, injectors, tuner, all that, you're talking about a grand to maybe get another 20-30hp. Injectors aren't even really worth doing unless you're making enough power to tax the duty cycle on your current ones - they're a support mod, not a power mod.

If you live in the mountains, I'd focus on the suspension first, and then see if you need more power once that's done. It doesn't take nearly so much power to keep the car at 70mph as it does to get it back up to 70 after having to drop down to 35.

Tires would be the first thing I suggest. Tires are the only connection between your car and the road, and quickly become the limit in your braking, acceleration, and handling. For a good street cornering tire, I'd look towards autocross tires - they won't need to be heated up to get good grip, and they'll have stiff sidewalls.

After tires, do chassis bracing. The best suspension in the world is worthless if your chassis flex munges the geometry any time you put a load on it. At the very least, do full-length subframe connectors. My preference is Maximum Motorsports, but there are many other reputable manufacturers.

At this point, things are very dependent on what your budget is, and exactly how important handling is to you.

Best of luck, and have fun with it!

I'm not sure I understand you... is GT front and rear bars and springs what?

Is that what's on the car presently? Is that sufficient for a handling car?

Honestly, I think GTs have too much swaybar up front. If you don't have the GT stuff, I wouldn't waste the time and money on it, with the exception of picking up the rear swaybar if your car doesn't have one already.

I sugggest to install fult bolt ons, long tube headers, shorty x or h midpipe, cold air intake, underdrive pulleys, a traction lock or an 8.8 rear end, if you want a short shifter.

Suspension ok, yes you wont need injectors, TB is not worth it imo but you can install it if you want. 3.73 for manual, and 4.10 gears for auto. Check this site you can get a 6% discount if you pm amnick Mustang Parts & Performance - American Muscle and this V6 Mustang Modification Guide

I'd get some sway bars, springs and shocks and plates first
then focus on the motor.

also budget is a big role. how much are you looking to spend?
what kinda power do you want to make?
you might be better off throwing just a s/c or turbo kit in there and running low boost vs an all motor setup.

if you do heads, cam and ported intakes your looking at roughly 220-245rwhp with supporting mods
should easily get you in the 13s if you drive decent and with a gear and posi.

Spec'ing a camshaft is a pretty big role. I cannot tell you a cam spec or recommend one with out knowing what your full intentions are to the car.
putting heads or not putting ported heads will make a difference. intakes, etc..

Well I have all GT under it right now, it came from the dealership that way,so as far as the suspension goes it does well there. Is there better out there for the cost? As far as budget goes I guess I really am looking for the $1000 range. The horse already has headers(BBK)and cold air ( also BBK) and true dual exhaust . So that being said now where do I go or do I even bother?

well GT suspension isnt all that much greater....its just a rear sway bar difference.
anyway personally if you wana make the most with your $1000. probably lower intake, windstar upper and a camshaft.
might put you just over $1000 but you'll make the most out of it with out spraying the car.
someone just did a ported upper and ported lower with bolt ons and a tune and camshaft and made 239rwhp..only 22Xrwtq but you can get a better spec'd camshaft
