2000 3.8 to 2003 4.6 engine swap

Ok so I have a 2000 v6 and found a 03 4.6 for 300 bucks, engine and transmission. I've been looking for info on this kind of swap but couldn't find it. So if someone could tell me what all i would have to change or give me a link or something. Thanks

Alot, alot, and alot. Thats certainly not a bad price, but just some thigns youll need is ecu, cooling, rear end, and a bunch of other shit. I might have a write up on my computer around here somewhere.

The guy who is selling it says that he has all the accessories from flywheel to oil pan and so on? so would the rearend just be it or anything else?

You need the computer, cluster, wire harness, 8.8 rear end, clutch assembly for manual, shifter of course. I would find a mechanic first and ask him how much he will charge. You actually need everything since nothing bolts into the V6... ( unless you speak spanish go to Mex it will be way cheaper to get the work done and could be worth it)

Or you can buy the engine and tranny and sell them on ebay for at least 700~800 each one just to sell it fast. You will gain 800~900 then mod the V6 or sell yours and get a Gt....
