Dont know what to do...

Well without going into too many details I've got a 2003 V6 with 57K miles on it and bone stock. Its worth about $10K. I have found a 2000 GT with 40K miles on it with cai, sound system, basani exhaust, racing gears, and a short shifter for $9K. Should i sell mine to a friend and take the GT? Only thing is i'm 17 so insurance a$$ rapes me lol. It wouldn't go up too much thought because its 3 years older than mine. So guys should I go with the newer V6 or older Gt with less miles?

The difference in gas between the v6 and the gt isn't horrible. It is about the same...or so from what I have heard, from my friends that have GT's. Insurance is cheaper because of the resale of the car...of course an older car is gonna be worth less than a newer car and on a newer car the rate to insure something more valuable will be more expensive.

hey Not to be Johnny Rain cloud here but WTF why are you guys trying to pitch the GT when this is the V6 section, sure we all know the GT packs more Stock power also Cost's more and is more exspensive to fix and insurance well might as well get a porshe for the price, ooh and not he mention GT's are in more accidents than the V6 (Geez Wonder Why) so if you want to get a GT make it for your own reason's and not just because you want more power because all that will do will end up in a tree or wall or even worse.....!!!!!
