stripes


Discussing stripes in the V6 Mustangs Forum. will red racing stripes look good on white with a black side stripe? kinda iffy ...

stripes

will red racing stripes look good on white with a black side stripe?
kinda iffy about putting them on

hey i am putting red on my white 96 but i dont have the black so i dont know maybe go with black stripes instead to match it???

I'd say black. They'd match your side stripe. If you don't match your side stripes by color everything will look weird. You can also remove them and put up silver or tungsten, which I think would look nice too. Or you can get GT500-ish and do vista blue stripes. =) Red probably wouldn't be the worst combo. It surely isn't something I recall seeing before, but if you like it then go for it. It's all about personalizing.

yeah black,red,blue is the bet choice for 2006 id say go red youd stick out more ! sorry but the pretty lady above me has arrived

alright, as long as it wont look horrible because the stripes were a gift so i was just wondering if i should sell them and go with a different color.

Dude if I had a white Stang and wanted to put racing stripes on it I'd probably do satin silver. But again, it's your car, and you're the one who's going to have to live with them and see it every day. Have you tried laying them out on the car to see what the car looks like with red stripes?

If it was me I would peel the black side stripe off and toss on a couple of tungsten gray stripes.

If it was me I would stick with just white and red, no black. Thats starting to be too many colors in my opinion.
