Just be sure to put the inside pads on the inside of the rotor, and outsides on the outside. There are a couple of raised dots on each pad, and if you reverse the order, you'll dent up your pistons. Take it from a person who did back in the day before he knew much about the car, I am yet to install the new piston I bought it makes a hellish squeal at times.

easy there tex, i work at advance auto parts and 99% of the customers come in and try to describe what they are doing by using words like "this ball thing" and "that long bent thing" and "you know what i mean" and ask questions like "why is my car running bad" or "why won't my trans shift right" and expect us to wave our wands and have every answer. But yeah, we do hire alot of fuckups, but its 50/50.

I'm just saying, from personal experience, in MY city... the people at autozone and kragen are certified retarded.

I'm not one of those people who goes in there like "something is wrong with the thing"

I meant no disrespect to you or anyone else... they just frustrate the hell out of me. I spent 45 mins telling the guy that i needed the caliper tool for the rear brakes and he had to call 4 different people to find out wtf i was talking about... when it was exactly what i was telling him... its just frustrating... he kept trying to sell me this little multifit tool that fits on the ratchet, and im like "dude this doesnt fit my shit" and he keeps saying "thats the one"

thats just one horror story from autozone... but yeah

Autozone, Advanced = Apples, oranges.

In my experience the guys at Advanced are the only ones who know anything worth sharing. NAPA was 50/50. One guy seemed like he had had a stroke, the other was on point. I'm sure it's where you go, you may get lucky, you may get the high school drop out. Get a Haynes manual.
