well i know the 17's are for performance cuz they are lighter, but right now im probably just going for looks but i kinda thought the 18's would be to big for the car even in apperance. The 18's look good on the 05+ but didn't know how they would look on my 04 convertible.

18's i think are a decent medium between performance and styling. i wouldnt go any higher than 18's though personally. Low profile tires dont look very good on mustangs IMO.

I'd say the chrome 18s, I just put the 17 gray bullits on my '00 and they look sick as hell, but the 235/55 tire was a little too tall, IMO, I would get the 18's and run like a 255/40 tire or even 35 tire, it will fill in the wheel wells better and handle better too.

well i don't have that bad of a problem and i clean it enough to where it wouldn't bother me so would the crome 18's be the best choice? would i need any spacers or anything like that?

The Black 17 would be the best of both worlds. Good looks and performance too.

I think you should go with a black theme. black wheels, blackout the healights and tails, black spoiler, black hoodscoop.
