Update: Dude i got everything i needed. It was no problem. It was time that was the problem. I got everything together and i had a bad leak i couldn't figure out. Also i heard like grinding when i drove it and i guessed it was the transmission.

So i took it into a local tranny shop. I took it in last tuesday. They found out the the adapter plate made by lilrousch was made wrong. It was made wrong so part of the lower intake ports were still open causing the high idle. They fixed that with a bigger gasket.

So once that was out of the way they ran the car on the lift and found that i some how f'd a bearing inside my tranny? So i told them to get it fixed. That was last tuesday. I call everyday to find out what the hell is going on. For the past three days they said it was going to be done by that day and guess what. Still not done.

So all in all im waiting for the shop and hopefully tomorrow i can get her back. Ill keep you guys posted.

Haha i got a hold of them and we got everything straightened out. The tranny is fixed. They took it for a test drive and it has mad spark knock which isnt good at all. Also when he hits the gas a little the idle shoots up. When he give it a little more the idle goes up even more. But when he unplugs the IAC she goes right back down to normal. So he ordered up a new one and well see what happens then.

I would never let the guys who worked on your tranny test drive a car you just put a supercharger on and haven't gotten tuned yet

get it tuned asap... that could be the problem right there. now that the tranny is done, get it tuned then see if there are any more problems with it

yeah its best to just buy a complete kit when doing the swap. maked everything 100x easier

i know that idling problem you are talking about. don't blame anything specific until you get it tuned. mine does that now and i am almost sure it's because I am running to big of an injector. doesn't effect the performance under load, but the 38lb injectors will occasionally drip to much fuel especially if open very slightly (like giving a little throttleat low rpm).

Another Eaton swap?


I did mine back in 07, still driving it today.

BTW, I had idle problems also, no vaccum leak though, let me know what you find out about that. The tuner 'tuned around it', I have an auto trans, in park, 950, in gear, 750. I would rather it be 650 and 800, but hey, it runs good.

You did intercool the SC, right? I stumbled accross this thread, read through all the pages here, didn't see much about your manifold.

Yours is a GT....OP's is a v6 so there is no *practical* way of doing an intercooled setup

Kinda caught that after posting, good luck with the build though.

But still let me know about the idle, seems wierd to me... My tuner told me the lighning MAF is only showing .5v at idle? He first insisted on a vaccum leak, we both checked everything everywhere, carb cleaner and propane, vaccum gauge checks good... I don't know, would be nice to get it straightend out though.
