Ported intakes

Whats the deal on ported upper and lower intakes? Whats the idea behind it? How much does it help? How much does it cost? Where would I take it to get it done? Do I need anything else to go along with it? Any and all info woud be appreciated. thanks in advance

i did some researchin on the same thing. go to this site, it is very helpful and i recomend it. www.3.8mustang.com if you need anything else or a question is unanswered, just let us know

ok, well ported heads allow more air in. the lowest they cost is $500 on that link to the site i showed you
