Intake question.

if i got that i would still need to get a cold air intake right? I didnt understang the guy at custom performance and just realized that c&l doesnt make aa full cold air induction system for a 3.8.

i don't see a cold air intake hurting if you can still install but as far as if you need it not sure

its just a MAF sensor it would work better if u got a CAI i think lol

ok which would be the best intake to go along with it?

bbk cold air intake, upr aluminum cold air intake, MAC fenderwell cold air intake, or a MAC performance straight shot intake?

cheap ebay one. its the EXACT same as those and cheaper. and if you do get a CAI you will need to get a larger sleeve because theyre made to fit the stock MAF sensor. and its hard enough to put them on that....

well i just bought a ebay one in CA and i live in maine just becareful who u buy from make sure there good liek feedbacks and shit

a cia and a hi po filter give you the exacts same power gain filter is just alot cheaper

why did you buy a new maf? Are you running forced induction, and are pegging the stock one? Are you running anything that is overpowering the stock one, and causing it to peg?

yeah it will hurt your cars performance if your not running a high output engine

this is just what the guy recomended and he does stangs for a livings, so ill take his word for it. i read on c&l's site and it doesnt say anywhere that it for engines running a forced inductions or anything. so idk. but it seems like its worth it for the gain it gives.

it doesnt give a gain tho =[ you dont have the need to have a MAF like that.. you couldnt run the Air to Fuel ratio high enough to even match it without blowing your motor so i suggest you just save your money and wait

I can tell you that I make guitar strings for a living, and that my guitar strings can give someone the ability to play faster because they bend easier and etc, but does that mean YOU will play faster? No.

dude yeah that won't do anything for you and you would need a TB as well to pull enough air to not run super rich. And with that TB ported intake. just get the CAI. And the only CAI that will fit on that is one from JLT
