my freind has a 96 camero 3.6L V6 unmodded manual transmission and i got a 00 mustang 3.8L unmodded and we raced once but stopped accel. at 40 mph but he beat me off the line i sat smokin tires but neway i was wondering can i take his camero or should i just forget it

of course thats going to happen, the camero was originaly made to compete with the mustang but it ended up being alot better of a car, newer ones are no different, trans am's and firebirds are the same way

well the camero is a 3.6 so it is a smaller engine but the specs quick overview is camero has 200HP and 180 lbs. tourque the satng i think is 200HP and has 220lbs. torque so i should win easly other than his is a manual and mine is automatic is where his advantage is but last time i sat smaoking tire while he took off but i must say i was up beside him by the time we deccelrated so i should take him on again

they say they have 210 hp but they dont put any of it to the wheels.. they have 3.8s and they are slow like a damn geo metro.. you should win everytime unless you just dont know how to drive in a straight line

You wont be able to take a "camero" since they don't exist, a camaro on the other hand the v6 comes down to a drivers race if the maro driver is good. You gotta remember that is a whole lot of weight for a v6 to be pushing along.

lol its a name of an animal.. anyways how bout them apples.. its a 3.8 its dog slow for "210" hp and Trans-AM with a 3.8 is dog slow too.. the Trans-AM WS-6 may be the king of all pony cars.. but the 03-04 Mustang Cobra is the king of the streets so who cars about anything else.. youll beat the Camaro unless you suck at driving end of story

+1 the SR20DET is pretty top end lol.. but even a Nissan Maxima or Nissan Altima will smoke a v6 mustang so dont go thinking your hott shit cuz they will beat you by more than 4 car lengths
