just a tip on the front strut nuts, theyre nearly impossible to get off without an impact wrench. if you have one, great but if you dont I used a crowbar and an old wrench with a 6 foot cheater bar from a hammock frame- just dont be afraid to gnaw up the nut as youre getting it off because they sell nearly identical ones at autozone for like 80 cents apiece, fortunately the rear strut nuts just need some vise grips- pm me if you have any questions

Use either a large flathead screwdriver or something else similar to hold in the top of the strut, and then have someone else turn the nut. Real hard by yourself, not too bad with a buddy.

yeah thats what we were supposed to do but I guess mine must have been different
for some reason it was incredibly hard to get out, like it took an hour for each nut with 4 people helping out

Alright, got it all done today and let me tell ya it looks great! Has a much more aggressive stance now. Alignment went really well with the CC plates. Guy at the shop said it just seemed to pop right in place. Overall I'm very happy with this mod however it has now led me to another one that i'm thinking will get done bc it is fairly reasonable on the budget. With lowering the car the rear tires looked really tucked up in the wheel wells now, so I'm thinking of getting spacers. Prob. 1 inch, 1.5 might be too much. I would love to get 17x10.5 deep dish bullitts for the back but this does not make the car as practical. Tires could not be rotated which would lead to more money being spent on tires. So in order to keep my car practical and a daily driver I'm going to go for the spacers. I looked at some on AM. Any recommendations... 1'' vs 1.5''? I read some of the reviews and some guys mentioned having to cut some of the stock lug... any insight on this?

So up next is:
Wheel spacers
Windows tinted
Fix exhaust (mufflers have been on since 2002... not in great shape!)

Overall I am very pleased with these new springs. Took it through some curves the other day just for kicks and I was amazed at the difference. Car just sits through the curves instead of being a lil bobble-head toy through the curves. Overall ride is very nice esp. on nice roads. The mustang has never been a great car on rough roads.

Just caught back up with this thread... looks good man. What size tire on the rear? They do sit in a lil bit which I take it is why you want spacers. I have 18x10 with 275s on the rear and they sit perfect.
