V6 GT

yo, I was on a web site and saw something called a v6 GT, is there actually such a thing it said it ran like 15.4 or 15.2 dont remember, just wandering if anyone heard of it it was one of the 99-04 stangs, were they refering to the pony package?just wandering

probably there is no such thing as a v6 gt and a v6 with a good driver could run a 15.4

Umm I was confuse with that I think it was a package because I have a v6 and the owner(the one I bougth the car from) told me it was a v6 Gt stock and I was like and it brougth True Dual Exhaust, the hood and other modds that I don't care for hehe

the pony package is a v6 with all the exterior flares the gt has along with some upgraded features like rear defrost. So when they say v6 GT they mean pony package

Ao that means it also have the GT badge because mine does.. and I asked if it was that he change it and he told me the cars is stock from the dealer... it brougth leather sits, 17" rims and the hood is different from other stocks stangs (mine a 00) ohh it also has that de-froster sh*t...what's could be my car max speed at stock? note: the exhaust is a True Dual one so I don't know what's the true H-P

i believe you cars "top speed" is governed at 112mph.

well he lied the badges aren't stock from the dealer they were put on. You have a 01+ gt hood or he just added the hood scoop. your max speed is 115 with the governer. The rims are also aftermarket.

v6 GT

Someone told me that the 05 up pony pack v6 come with better brakes better suspension, and SOHC along with all the visual and luxury upgrades as the non pony package ones do not come with any of the above, and my 94 has rear defrost, does that mean its a pony package because im sure they didnt have one that year, because it has no fog lights, maybe because its the highest package v6 u could get that year

Ohh ok i didn't know anything well the dealer lied then because he is a friend of my dad and I remember the car to be the same since he bougth it from the dealer.. umm so the fuc**ng seller lied to him what a mother fckr

no they all are sohc same engine.

There is a dealership here that won't touch my car for repairs because they believe it is a Saleen even when I have told them it isn't and all I need is a dash replaced so it wouldn't matter if it was.

sweet

lol, i had a very heated debate with a kid that try'd to tell me that my car was a GT because he goes to my school and saw me at the track and says no way a 94 v6 would run my time, and then when he beleived it was a v6 he wouldnt let it down that it was an inline six, then once he broke that idea now he wont belive its not a 3.5 even when i should him the engine lol, it says 3.8L v6 right on the intake manifold lol

I know i should, im almost afraid to drive my terminator to school when it gets nice he wont shut up about that then, and by the way anyone know the best exhaust on a 03 cobra, i heard ppl say all the following were the best, SLP loudmouths, Bassanti, single chamber flowmasters, and borla stingers(s-type)

theres places that have been selling cars that arent what they are. like saleen cover ups. or SRT-8 and srt-4 cover ups.

but you might have a GT....count your cylinder or just look at your engine...it doesnt look the same
