in the axle housing(the middle where that wierd looking thing is)

the very middle of the rear axle
the rear wheels are connect by an axle which is known as the rear axle. in it are axles, gears, and a differential.
the middle houseing holds the gears and differential to which the axle connect to and go out to the wheels which makes them spin.

there is no such thing as a dumb question

see the thing in the middle that the 2 stick/pole looking objects connect to...
that is the axle housing which is where the gears go

just gears shouldnt be over $200. you should get t-lok tho with the gears

now i know what that is... lol... it would b alot cheaper on labor thats 4 sure
