30 dollar CAI vs an 300 dollar CAI

im looking to invest in a CAI. ive checked ebay and they have a price range of 30 dollars to about 300 dollars. My question is, does a 300 dollar CAI really make that much a difference vs a 30 dollar CAI? I mean, a CAI is only gonna give you 5-10 HP, so is the 300 dollar one gonna give you more power than the 30 dollar one? is it worth spending 300 bucks on a CAI? is a 30 dollar kit gonna be reliable? should i settle for something in the middle?

i got mine for $48 shipped and im completly happy. the only difference is the amount of heat that the medium will transfer. but its so minute there is no real world difference. just go with cheap. but make sure its a good person to buy from.

the 30dollar one will be the same as the 300 dollar one......theres only like a 1-5hp gain if that with a cai....just make sure it looks smooth and well put together...and the seller has a good rep...

my car is white, but i try to get everything black, sort of like a black and white theme. I got black rims, black inserts on the bumper, dark window tint, black seat covers. this will be the first thing ive done under the hood.
