Can I convert my V6 to a V8 GT?

kobebryant Newbie Join Date: Feb 2007 Posts: 14	Can I convert my V6 to a V8 GT? How much work would it be to put a 5.0L engine in my v6 96 Mustang. Or even just a V8 engine like the ones that are in the GTs. Thanks!

itschristorres8 SP00LIN V6 2000 Mustang V6 unknown @390 Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: south florida Posts: 14,619	exhaust, gears and v8 swap...most common questions you'd need a built rear or an 8.8 rear end. a tune and someone to reprogram the computer n wat not for the car. a tune and an engine of course in then end it'll be cheaper to sell your car for a v8. or it'll cost you like $4k __________________ 437rwhp and 402rwtq through a V6 on a stock bottom end

you'd need a tuner and pulleys probably. and your headers better be long tubes
