Stupid question, just need to know..

Searched around in the forums, couldn't find anything on it.. Anyways, is it ok to put 91 octane in my car, then owners manual says to put 87... isn't 91 better for the car? Or should I stick with 87?

Pretty much depends on your setup for the car. If you have it tuned to a certain octane rating you have to use that rating or higher. Would it hurt? No.

use 87 unless you tune your ecu for a higher octane otherwise it is just a great waste of money...

well if that is what works then go with it but in normal cases 93 is a waste.

use the manufacturer specs unless tuned for another octane gradient. stock for all v6 mustangs is 87. i am tuned for 93+ and run 93 all the time.
