sct x3 tuner problem

Ok, so I recently bought the tuner for my 2000 v6 mustang and it feels like the transmission is slipping or grabbing or something..It happens when I am just ideling in drive at around 15-20 mph...Im just using the preloaded tunes, i just have it on the 91 octane tune and i adjusted the shift firmness by 5%...

Any thoughts of what could be causing my transmission to do this?
let me know if I need to clear anything up

check for dtc's and then put the stock tune back on and see if that clears the issue. If it does you need to talk to the tuner who made the tune.

How could the tune be messed up though? I know thats what causing the problem, but i just used the canned tunes that you can adjust yourself...and all I changed it to was 91 octane and the shifting firmness

Could there be a tranny problem that is exagerrated by the extra "firmness"?

*seriously, no gay puns intended.

a canned tune still had to be written by someone it can be bad. they are not written by a computer or anything, they are just generic to the car motor not your personal one. Have the guys you bought it from send you another 91 tune

well either bring it to a dyno and have it dyno tuned or pay a company to write you another tune and email it to you if you have the cable to plug into your computer.

those programs are made very specifically to the car its ordered for, thats why they require a computer code original to the vehicle when ordering.
