i fail to see why a heat sheild would have anything to do with driving in the grass there function is to sheild the car bottom and any componants above the exhaust system from exhaust system heat. sounds like a load of crap to me.... did the guy who told you this fall on his head my any chance or did he drool perhaps?

dont trust mechanics. they usually lie, why i dont know. but they seem to always be full of shit. unless you go to a mom and pop shop then they usually are pretty good to deal with.

i had a retard throw out my K&N on my sunfire told me that thye wernt reuseable and it had ot be replaced... i just put the fucker in and thye are reuseable i refused to pay the bill for any of the work and also made them replace the K&n filter.
