Need some oxygen sensor help.

My car seems to like frying O2 sensors. I threw a code p0155 for the heater circuit (can't remember which bank.) The sensors and extensions are only 8 months old and this is the third or fourth set to crap out. Should I use a brand other than the oem sensors, or am I overlooking something else that could be causing them to fail so fast? Btw I do have LT headers.

Hmm could be. Never thought of that. Could the lean or rich condition mess with the heating circuit part of the sensor? The other thing is it's only one sensor?

You might check the heater circuit. Look up which pins connect to the heaters and compare the voltage on the left and right.

It could also result from an upstream air leak, but that should set a code.

Do you think they would have a voltage tester at autozone? I'll have to try that. The only other code is it says it's running lean because of the o2 not working.

I'd look at the connector and harness that the 02 connects to. Make sure you don't have any exposed wires or burned up wiring insulation. It might be shorting them out.

According to what I could find, bank one is the side with cylinder 1 or the right side. So bank 2 is the drivers side.

I looked and everything wire and connectionwise seems to be ok. Wierdest thing though...I decided to drive the car to work and the code cleared itself. On the way back the cel was off. Now I am really confused. Apparently something other than a faulty o2/wiring tripped the code
