v6 Dumped Exhaust

I'm looking to get this magnaflow v6 kit for my car.

I'm considering getting dumped exhaust , but I have a few questions.

1. Is it legal in California? Do the pipes have to be after the cab?
2. I wouldn't be installing this kit myself. If I took it to, say, Midas, would they be able to pull this off?
3. How much do you think they'd charge me if I already bought the kit and want it to be installed this way (ballpark estimate)?

What the hell is dumped exhaust? It just looks like the tips are pointing down.

Personaly i wounldnt waste my time with a y exaust system i would just go with true duals it will sound better and cost about the same depending on who you go to or what you want to do with it

Have to go after the cab, after the axle. I have the same thing done, my shop would not do it right after the muffler.
I'm sure its illegal in Cali if it is in VA.

def won't cost the same. You either have to cut your h pipe or get an aftermarket one.

Are you deleting the cats or keeping them? The last dumped car I seen had none of the 4 cats left. Legal or not, you will lose some power so just be prepared for that.

dumped are okay right after the muffler...i had them and they sound nice, but vibrate a bit to much for my taste...but don't use the y-pipe... its a waste of money and time...
