3" or 2.5" are both good, just make sure that they are mandrell bent or the diameter won't matter

mandrell bent is where a piece of bendable metal or something is inserted into the tube when it is bent so that size and flow aren't disrupted when the pipe is bent, a non mandrell bent tube would be comparable to a bent straw not meant to be bent and the pinch at the bend

hey i want X pipe, but mac long tube headers wont work, so what long tubes work w/ x pipe

you can use mac longtubes just buy a dr gas x-pipe and get it welded in after everything is mocked up.

so i guess dr. gas is a name brand, and u can weld that to the long tube, and whatts u mean mocked up?

well dr gas is a brand name and they have a website, what i mean by mocked up is it comes in pieces and you get everything to fit, tack weld the pipes in place once everything is fitted correctly then pull it off, weld it up completly and put it back on, done

its all about personnal opinion here man, i love macs because they are good quality at a cheap price, plain and simple. Now i am sure there can be another 500 posts on which one is better and what not but to save money i would get mac and that way you can spend a little more on a quality x-pipe which is dr gas.
