x-cal2


hey just wondering, x-cal2 is the best chip for the 1998 mustang 3.8 right? is xcal or livewire better. i want top of the line cuz i figure if i do somethin imma do it right the first time, and not waste money on something not as good.

neither of them are chips, but the livewire is the xcal 2 with a g-tech all put into one. I would say go for the livewire.

They're tuners... and livewire and x-cal are basically the same software except livewire has quite a few more options and can sit on your window/dash.. and it it matters to you, it looks awesome

In what stage of modifying should u get a tuner? Should u get it tuned after every mod?

Get the livewire it is the best for any OBD-II Stang IMO

Get a tuner when you get most of your mods done that way it can tune for them then you can alter the tunes yourself for new ones.

or you could start with a tuner get what you can with it then add on top of it... as you go you can tweak each part's input on your overall power
