What's the clicking..?

Hey in my mustang, ever since I got it, it clicks during idle up front, and during low rpm-acceleration. Any idea what that could be from?

i have thesame problem its an exhaust leak in the manafold or fromt the header to the mid pipe eventualy it will get worse and u will have to get it fixed. onmce it warms up the gasket expands and plugs the hole so it dont sound like crap thats why it seemes to go away. but just get it checked professionaly just to be sure.

I had that in my 2000 (one of the reasons I traded--I was afraid it was something major). I put premium gas in, and it quit. So, I just kept putting in premium. The ford guys had no answer for me....just keep putting in the premium....duh, thanks for nothing ford.

if yours was solved by a tank of premium it was an obvious fuel system problem, a bad injector, pump, pressure, lines, filter and of course check evap system and even egr valve system. that should have been easly diagnosed and fixed where the hell did u take your car to monkeys? You had a ping its called usualy caused by an untuned engine after its been modified and the timing has not been retarded or advanced properly. but is also a sign of a problem with the systems and devices i started above.
