By the way, how does it behave on the street with that high of a stall converter? Since it would never really be locked up under most conditions. And gas mileage? Not that I'm terribly concerned with that...

It does pretty good.
It does just like the stock...just have to give it a lil more pedal. I havent did gas mileage on this car since before the cam. It burns alot though. Probablly 18-19mpg...mostlly city driving.

Yeah...not really a good vid. I need to make better one of the speedometer. That vid was with about 245/250 hp/tq. The next one will be all out 0-100 mile at the strip.

One day maybe.
My local track is five miles from the house...which is 1/8th mile.
If they ever come through on a v6meet...I will run it down the 1/4.

This 1/8 slip is good for 12.2-12.3 1/4 slip.

Next mod is probablly going to be a set of 2peice welds or drag lites...big and littles with a 26x8-15 mt et slick on the back.

See I've heard people say that, and then run horrible 1/4th times! (not saying you would run horrible times )

How far is 1/4 ile track?

Well...with a centri blower...my car has top end. With the 88.6 mph trap in the 1/8th mile I'm in third gear. So all I have to do is wind third out if I were to run it down the 1/4. It should be able to trap 110-112 in the 1/4.

Closest 1/4 mile is in richmond va...5 hours away.

I'm thinking the next mod is going to be either a trans brake or weld racing rims with et slicks and skinnies out front. I'm going to need to cut a 1.6 to reach my next goal of 7.5...Which is role cage mandatory.

Oh holy.... I've always told myself I wouldn't go big/littles on my street car I want it to run the same thing on everywhere

88.6 in 3rd @ what rpm?

Hell yeah...7's in the 1/8th mile is fast for a street car...especially a v6.

I want to do bigs and littles for the track. And a little street use. Not to mention it looks tough as hell.

I was on heavy ass 17" bullits when I made this pass. A set of welds or drag lites would drop my et by a good .2. I can pick a set of drag lites up and carry them with 2 fingers...compared to the tire I have on there now...where I have to use both hands to pick them up.

oh...and my 3rd gear tops out at 120.
