HEY Cam ideas
since im an mechanical idiot and my car is still in pieces in my garage... i have a new plan... i need some part ideas and rough numbers...
i will steal some money from a bank and get an after market cam, set up for a flat tapit... what size should i get... also fuel injectors... plans for this car is full boltons and rebuild the bottom in a few years... uhh how much for an install and tune? and all that other neat shit that goes along... that everyone hates paying for... any thing else that i should throw in their... i will get a stag 3 PP later in like a year... and if i get a good cam now then i will buy the PP with out the cam later... so opinions please

ik they do but most people understand that things happen... i bet i could e bay it if they wouldn't take it out of the package...
All motor... N2O might be in the future... but mos def a stage 3 ... im just not sure... and if i get some rough ideas i can finallize with professional dealers

dont worry about a cam until you are positive on the setup you want to use. A cam is what brings your entire setup together. Also for something a little cheaper check out www.rpm-mustangs.com They have ported items there for cheaper. I'm also thinking about snagging some parts from junkyards, and doing work like that. Snag some cylinder heads, and rebuild them myself, and then slap them up on my car. Then snag a upper and lower intake manifold, and port them all.

well i know for sure ima do a stage 3 and i know for sure ima rebuild with a 4.2 stroked...
the reason i bring up cam is cuz im half way their... and i don't just wanna replace the front cover gasket to have to do it again in a few months... so like i said ima rob a bank and have a pro install it since my car is half apart... i would just get it towed and find a place that could do it under the curcumstances for cheap... oh and i don't have any wrecked V6's from our model in my town... sadly... tho we have three yards and plenty of Maro's

im sayin that the stock cam will do you fine until you are positive on your setup, and is a mod that pulls everything from the other mods together to make the setup that you want work for you. Thats why I'm sayin you should know your setup if it will be all motor, or if you are gonna run nitrous.

yea but doesn't it make sense that since im their i might as well do it anyways?
i under stand it is the final piece to the puzzle... but im thinking build off it and make it my final the mark i need to strive for to add components that make it work to its maximum potential kk let me ask you this... you have a stage 2+ PP full bolt ons (exhaust intake fuelpump injectors igntion pulleys etc.) and a livewire... what cam would you look at getting
