if u plan on alot of mods i would save more and get the 8.8 they are alot more stronger but if u want to stay 7.5 have u checked out jegs

nothing wrong with a 7.5 rear end if you were pushing more then 300 RWHP then get an 8.8

well anything after 300 and i just think ur looking to have problems and 300 HP at the rear is a hell of alot of hp you would have to mod the hell put of your ride for that if u aint supercharged or turbo u dont need an 8.8

but i figured why wait i plan on alot of mods. I saw a deal and took it. The rear end was a 8.8 with posi trak with 4.10s and a sway bar all for 950 and 400 labor.

it came with t lok mine had 4.10s for gear ratio and a sway bar. Now i have posi better traction and both tires spinnig are a bonus LOL. I wanted it becuase stronger then i could focus on other mods without my reae end going out on me

Im calling you out on this.....What about nitrous ? or a V.6 that is now a 4.2 with all internal work....this will make 300+rwhp on motor alone which will need a 8.8....not to mention Spraying the motor as well will be better with an 8.8....getting a 8.8 is cheaper then building a 7.5.....you can find a used 8.8 for about 200...or buy a t-lok at 150 or so....pay to get it installed cause most wouldnt do it in themselves...and still its a 7.5 with more money put into the rear and less strength......buy a 8.8 and swap the whole rear its a lot easier on the pocket if you need to pay to get a installed T-Lok...at least around here.....people tend to forget a V6 can be built on motor with over 300rwhp....just takes a lot of work and money but by then any power adder to it will make it more of a beast
