t5 trany help!!

hi everyone, my friend own me $200 he say he'll give me a t5 trany to pay for the debt.I search and i found out that it will fit my 99 v6, but honestly i don't know what is a t-5 trany, and how its going to help my car, and does it fits whit out making any changes or do i have to make any mods to make it work. thanks you guys.

A T-5 transmission is a manual transmission with 5 gears. As far as the parts needed I couldnt tell you.

well mine is a manual tranny too stock. what will be the different for the stock manual to t5.?

x2. and if the t-5 he has is from a car that is older than your 99, his t-5 is actually weaker than your t-5

you'll need a flywheel
bellhousing
clutch cable
clutch pedal assembly
clutch quadrant
clutch kit
shifter if the tranny doesnt have one

$200 for a stock t5 is a bit high IMO...you can get them for $100-150 all day. its a VERY common tranny. a lot of foxes have it and every 99-04 v6 has one and even the older models i believe.

the driveshaft might have to be changed but a i doubt it
