This is def a mod I would recommend that you go to a junkyard, and snag some some intake manifolds to try it on first. I just read that exact article yesterday when I was thinkin about starting to do some port and polish work for people.

+1 definitely pick up a second hand manifold that way u can cut your losses with out crying if you damage it
