do not put a pair of bolt cutters to your springs you will never get all 4 to sit the same and the wont sit right i can promise you that.......... get yourself a pair of springs and put them in yourself its not hard at all

You could also buy a kit from AM for $250 i think... Sorry to thread jack but how hard is it to ether cut the springs, or to install a new set of springs? What parts need to be taken off and what are there any special tool needed?

well then i would have to replace the shocks, struts, ball joints too. the guy at the shop wouldnt recommend it, he said it loses performance too and a lot of people have regretted it. i can put that money into something else. just got a cold air intake and a grill delete to install tonight!

I know some people who just replaced the springs, but not anything else such as the shocks or struts and they said it has worked fine... I do not know for sure since I ave never tried it but thats what I have heard... If you dont want to spend any money just cut them

same with ball joints, I just installed Eibach pro kit (lowers an inch) and didn't need ball joints... I did get new shocks/struts however because my stock ones were worn out... if you want pro kit springs, I'd sell you mine , just have to wait for me to take mine off the car and buy sportlines to put them in their place, haha

I have Ford Racing C-springs which lowered my car 1.25" and cost me $174.99. Eibachs go for $249.99. Check out the AmericanMuscle site (that's where I got mine).

ok here is my advice. you for sure want it lowered right? ok soo cut the springs. see if you like them and see what you think. if you are not happy then go buy some. but i see no reason to go buy some when you don't even know if you will like them cut or not.
and you will not need new ball joints, struts and shocks
