Engine Swap

I just wanted to know if the chasis are the same size in the v6 and the gt models? i was wondering if it is possible to put a 5.4L 356T-7 aluminum block into my v6 stang and build from that point on?

wow. good luck on that. Thats a BIG motor. Your going to need to re-arrange a ,lot of stuff to make it work. Did you pull it out of a lightning?

Ummmm not worth it unless you can do all the work your self. You would probably be better of buying a cobra or a lightning then putting that in your v6 stang.

For a 2005 -present, you can swap engines, dirve trains, tranies etc. But if you do, you will have to buy special flanges for drive train, computer etc.

That being said, I was thinking about droping a 302 in my 2005 V6, its a small block engine with a huge potential....and lots of goodies for the performance side. I am still doing the research. Their are lots of crated 302, race ready with 300 - 475hp. Seems you can get one of these for around $3,500 - $6,000.

Again, I am just thinking about possibilities.

dude most likely that car will have dual exhaust. now you'll look like a GT already/v8
what little guy are you talking about now
it deffinitly will not be quiet. so..there is really no sleeper effect what so ever.
