4.10 gears and posi Install


I just dropped off my car an hour ago to get posi-traction, 4.10 with and Master bearing installed. Im so excited! ill let u guys no how it feels tomarrow.

awesome. what are they charging including the gear oil? 200 even is a good price, but 250+ is too much. dont let them rip you off. enjoy your new found 2-wheel peel and accelleration. the gears/t-lok were my favorite mod of all time so far

Down here in texas a town called selma is home to Lethal Performance, and they are trying to get me an 8.8 rear end for about 700 then I'm gonna get gears and have them install, they quoted gears at 225 if the rear end is in the car and 125 if it isn't.

i didnt put them on yet im still waitin for them to come in the mail... n believe it or not i cant find a much better deal any where else... ford said 4-6hrs $452.63 and like i said $385 from jacks auto... and a place called the garage said $150... but i dono if i can trust them... so do u guys think i should just stop worrin n take to the garage?

fatal performance in texas quoted me $200. they are strictly mustang shop. so no worries

oh and lethal performance owns too

stop worring and take the garage, if they do a poor job take it back and make them redo it the right way for free, and if they won't then threaten to sue them

whats the advantage of a 8.8 rear end? does my grand marquis have one in it stock?

8.8 is beefier. will withstand more tq. it comes stock with gt's and has posi

u guys dont know how lucky u r u dont live in iowa... there is no where to take my car like the mustang shop... n if it wasnt fer the Internet i wouldnt b able to get ahold of any performance parts!... and thats no lie...lol

don't go there...

wtf... it's the same exact job regardless of if you have a 7.5 or 8.8
