bad news for him, good news for me!

my friend Jon wrecked his 95 GT. Ran into the back of a stopped 05 Ram at 35 mph. Totaled it. the front end is completly messed up, but the back end is still perfect. My question, would the rear end of a 95 GT fit in my 02 V6? should i be worried since its coming off of a totaled car?

i was thinking the same thing. but i also thought that most of the differences between the 94-98s and the 99-04s was cosmetic.

your fine. I got a 97 v6 and I pulled a rear off of the new generation also. I pulled mine off of a 99 gt. It bolts up perfectly. Your fine. Use it.

the rear will bolt up exactly, but the axles are (i belive) 3/4" or so shorter.
