Whenever I do, I smell an exhaust/gas smell comming from the vents..
Anyone know what the problem is?

u sure you are smelling exhaust? or could it be something else?

i dont know what it is, just some kind of smell. you shouldnt smell anything from the vents

Possible exhaust leak? I know when my header was cracked I had to keep the vents closed otherwise I could smell the exhaust and I'd get to where ever I was going with a nasty headache and feeling like I was gonna vomit. Shit cleared right up when I got the header fixed and now I can have all my vents open no problem.

is it a sweet smell? you could have a leak in that system....have you checked in the passenger floorboard for and leaks

maybe the manifold is cracked? im taking it in this weekend because when i drive i hear a chattering noise everytime i accelerate...

hmm combo of chatteing and smell of exhaust... sounds like a exhaust leak to me

Hey bro I smelt the same thing when I put my lts on and it was a small exhaust leak. Make sure everything is flush, and there is no air coming from anything!

First thing i always tell people that see steam/smoke or smell something coming from ac is feel front passenger floor and see if its wet and if it is see if it smells sweet. If it isnt then take it to the shop for a look or lift the car and check your exhaust for cracks.
