supercharger fitting?

So im getting serious about buying a supercharger...I found a used eaton
m112 which is what i want. Will it fit okay? will i have to get a new hood?

heres a link

EATON M112 SUPERCHARGER JEEP CHEVY CAMARO MUSTANG FORD:eBay Motors (item 390111689411 end time Nov-04-09 13:38:31 PST)

what will be new about my belts? How and where would i mount it?

The only thing i know about superchargers is that they force air into the motor...So im pretty clueless.

To the OP...Don't get that one, it WONT work on your car. If you want the Eaton get the style thats on the 03/04 cobra's. Those usually go for around $300 over on svtperformance

You haven't seen THAT supercharger on v6 mustangs....There is different versions of the M112. You need the M112 that comes stock on 03/04 cobras/lightnings

And you find a supercharger for 300 on svtp when all those guys have the s/c stock and want to get rid of them to upgrade to a bigger one

so this one would work? I did more looking and found what you might be talking about.

03-04 Mustang Cobra EATON M112 supercharger 4.6 dohc:eBay Motors (item 280415063123 end time Nov-01-09 14:27:55 PST)

These are phenomenal prices. Would this one install right on top of the engine? Would i have to get an aftermarket hood?

You are going to have to go through a LOT of work man. It doesn't just "bolt up" as it needs custom pieces and you will need a new hood (unless you want to cut yours and have it sticking out of the hood)

Here is the parts list

2003-2004 Cobra plenum
2003-2004 Cobra throttle body
2003-2004 Cobra 39lb injectors Cobra 90MM MAF With MAF Sensor
2003-2004 Cobra boost bypass
2003-2004 Cobra supercharger pulley
2003-2004 Cobra throttle and cruise control bracket
2003-2004 Cobra air intake tube
2003-2004 Cobra TPS sensor
2003-2004 Cobra M112 supercharger gasket- RTV sealant works best
2003-2004 Cobra plenum gasket
2003-2004 Cobra throttle body gasket
2003-2004 Cobra fuel injector O-rings
1999-2004 Mustang V6 upper intake gasket
M112 intake adaptor

12 washers for intake bolts
10 bolts for M112 to adapter
4 bolts for the plenum to the M112
4 bolts for the throttle body to the plenum
4 bolts for the MAF to CNC flange
2 bolts for IAC delete to plenum
2 bolts for IAC relocation
2 bolts for IAT relocation to M112

There is a guy on 3.8mustang who sells a whole kit for $2800 (excluding fuel pump, boost gauge, and tune)

His name is Mysteed

Wow....How hard would it to get those parts individually? If i bought the one im looking at, i would get the bypass, and the throttle body and what he called an elbow?

Also, could i cut my hood then cover it up with an aftermarket hood scoop from AM?

The elbow is actually called the "Plenum"

And I got all the parts for less than $1400. But thats because I did all the custom work myself

And no...A hoodscoop wont cover it. It'll cover most of it, but the pulley will still be visible

Typical results are around 240 to the wheels

No...You will need a new one. You can use the portion after the MAF though as that is no different
