I've always heard on this site that Thrush weld mufflers sound the best on our 6'ers and they are very cheap too. Just buy the mufflers and them to a shop to have them custom bend your exhaust. This is usually the cheapest route.

Its generally cheaper to get the mufflers (and possibly tips) you want and have a shop fabricate the midpipes. If you do the installation yourself you save a ton but even having the shop do the installation will be cheaper than buying an entire system online.

If you are going to be doing exhaust I would recommend doing it right the first time and making sure you get mandrel bends. Our exhaust don't need a cross pipe since they even fire engines so that knocks off about another $40 or so if you avoid the unneeded cross pipe. True Duals FTW.

Yea if thats what you want. Of course you can usually find pretty good deals on ebay or craigslist but if you find something you want get it. Don't forget to check out the Exhaust thread. There are a lot of clips to listen to that can give you a general idea of what all kinds of setups sound like.

Not sure why you would get your exhaust redone just to change the piping so I'm assuming you are wondering what the labor and piping costs. If that's the case it really depends on where you are located and what shop. Basically you will just have to shop around and tell all the different shops what you want done and they will give you a quote.
