It's a common problem with the pump. It's just a loud pump as far as I'm concerned.

My started sounding really bad. I simply used an old turkey baster (actually, it wasnt old and after my wife found out, I got my ass beat) to suck about a 1/4 of a quart out. I then put some "no leak" or "no squeek" (cant remember) in place and it really quieted it down.

Trust me. you'll know when your pump goes out. It sounds like it's about to blow up and it becomes unbearably loud.
