Starter problem
Starter problem?
When I start the car most of the time when im turning the key, it sounds like the engine is dragging and doesnt start up smoothly, sometimes it does. is it the starter going? if it is, does it matter which one to get. like the cheapest one? |

Have them tested. Auto shops do it for free. Could be either one from what you gave... If you're batt. is relatively new and you don't have after market electronics (subs, amp, etc.) and I'd imagine relatively high miles being a '00, it's prolly the starter. Do the 'ol hammer bang trick. Give the started a lil tap. If it starts right up after that then most likely time for a new starter.
