Alright im decided im going to get a saleen boy kit for my car and then have the entire car repainted. I was wondering what color i should have it painted. It is currently bright red, and i was thinking i should keep it red so i dont need the door jams and stuff painted, maybe just a different tone of red, anyone have any awesome color ideas?

if i had monye... this is what i would do..
get a low gloss black... then do an overcoat of red highlight paint (and of course a clearcoar)
so whenever ur car is in DIRECT sunlight, it'll b red... and when u go under a bridge, it'll b black.... its soooooo cool

oh and at night, it'll be black even when street lights r shining on ur car... the red barely shows at all with street lights

id get it black. thats my favorite color for cars. with black you can get black tint, black taillights and headlights. everything black and make the car clean as hell! doesnt work well with other colors though, red tint eek

get the same orange as the Extreme Saleen....then again you probably wouldnt have enough for the same kind....its bad ass tho....or get a Mystic Chrome like the 04 Cobra and Mystic Saleens

ford racing blue with white racing stripes an chrome rocker panles, along with like a 25% tint (black)

Well i still cant decide on the color, but MicronXD's idea sounds really cool to me, i wish i could see an example in person. I also have another question, i was thinking of replacing the hood for a more attractive one, and all that i have been finding are fiberglass hood, the stock hood isnt fiberglass is it? WOuldnt a fiberglass hood be really crappy like a fiberglass body kit?

its a stock hood with a GT scoop... nothing special....I like the Saleen Extractor hood from a Extreme Saleen looks like a 03 04 cobra but the make a v shape instead of the Cobra's l l straight design

well i like the hood anyhow, adds some attitude to it, dont' some v6 have hoods with scoops except for that the scoop doesn't stick up above the rest of the hood?

what ? V6s either have the hood of a 99 cobra which are flat with a small honeycomb panel or have the GT scoop style as seen on the Saleen

thats what I did only with blue flake and electric green.

If you got the money pic a color you like and change it. I wanted to go to saleen beryllium but it would have been super expensive.

I would do it a sonic blue with 2 silver stripes going down the middle.......sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet
