Help With Brakes

My 2002 coupe with barely 80k miles has recently started creaking when i apply the breaks at low speeds(under 15mph) and when parking/ sitting still and creaks even louder when i let off the breaks. The noise can be heard from inside the car but its louders near the two front wheels. It shoulds as if it is comming from the pedal to wear the breaks are applyed, not the breakpads or anything. Breaking is fine but the sound is anoying. Anyone know what the issue is or how to solve it? thanks

it could be the pins on your calipers. they get dry. I dont know if they make noise. If you need to replace your brakes you should check out these articles they are helpfull. Replacing Worn Out Brake Calipers | Tooldesk Automotive Tool Blog , Changing Brake Pads | Tooldesk Automotive Tool Blog. And as far as the cable goes the brakes are hydraulic. It could be the master cylinder is shot and from the sound of that it sounds almost like your brakes may need to be bled cuz it sounds like there is play. Is there play? if so and you want to bleed them Bleeding Your Brakes | Tooldesk Automotive Tool Blog

ok well i guess play is a bad word for it i mean spongy feel? Ok so i listened to the video again. Hmm. Where does it sound like it is coming from? Like the floor? It may be the pedal then. If not hmm.... idk. you have any more info? Like more precise where the sound is coming from? I can see how that is annoying.

ok well i would have to say that it has to be something outside the vehicle then. Umm it could be wheel bearings maybe. They might be bad. I would recommend taking a tire off and lookin at the brakes and then move the spindles to see if they have lots of play or the wheel bearings are bad.

Its gonna take looking at it all. Get the wheel off on the side you think its comin from. Make sure the rotor isn't warped, pads are still good, etc. Spray some Disc Brake Quiet on the pads since you'll be that far in anyway. If your rotor(s) have started to groove at all it could make noise.
