Depends where you go and what you want in the build exactly. i'm getting mine rebuilt at the moment. The block is being torn apart down to nothin, acid dipped, and looked over for any stress points or cracks. lower compression pistons so i can run more boost, forged h beam rods, stiffer valve springs and all new lifters. also while i'm at it im getting a compcams xtreme cam for supercharged 3.8's with an extremely lopey idle. and virtually everything else is being replaced including thicker stronger head gaskets. All this is about $3,500 with a 3 year 50,000 mile warranty.

if your going to get it rebuilt then go all the way and get it blue printed with some hi po cams, heads, and forged internals
